Where has the time gone?  All of a sudden it is May, the Quilt Festival is around the corner (is your block ready?) and the tourists buses have started to bring more visitors to St. Jacobs.  Things have been changing around here.  If you haven’t been in recently this is a really good time to plan a visit.

We would like to welcome Little Latte not only to the neighbourhood but to space in our store.  It is the perfect place to refresh yourself with a cup of espresso or coffee.  Little Latte‘s coffee offerings are Fair Trade certified.  Being shade grown you will get a more flavourful cup of coffee without a bitter or acidic aftertaste.  They don’t stop at coffee.  You can also purchase some sweet things, pasta and sauces ready to be prepared at home, soup mixes and more.  Come out this weekend, May 5-6, for their Grand Opening and see for yourself!

That isn’t the only change that has taken place here.  While things were “quiet” we took out a wall and are now connected through to Pink Papaya.  We’ve created our own “mini mall”.  We’re excited about these changes and hope you will be, too.

On the store and product front, so many new fabrics and products are arriving that we are trying to keep up with it all.  Is your family looking for a Mother’s Day gift for you?  We have just the thing.  We now carry ready-to-finish pine quilt racks and quilt hangers with curio shelf.  The shelf and hanger model is available in both 3- and 4-foot lengths.

We look forward to seeing you soon, possibly during the Quilt Festival on May 22-25!
